WHAT IS SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING AT ORIGIN?

In short it is personal training at less than a quarter of the cost of one-to-one pt.

in depth, it’s so much more than that. it’s dynamic and fun whilst still allowing for an individual and personal experience, sessions are small-group and coach led lasting around 55mins. you’ll learn the tried and tested principles of effective sustainable training. the principles, systems and techniques are explained by our coaches so you’ll understand what you are doing, why you are doing it and most importantly, how to do it.

our coaches are all experienced, are able to coach, adapt and push each member, whilst motivating and keeping the energy high in a fantastic group atmosphere.

come to the gym whenever you want to top up your training or catch up on a missed session in a private, familiar and safe environment. no fighting for equipment like in a commercial gym.

  • Absolutely not, but we hear this a lot from members who eventually sign with us. They feel it looks intense when they watch us on social media but then comment on how welcoming the coaches and other members are with them.

    Our goal is to make you feel at ease and comfortable as we know it is a big step doing something different.

  • So the consultation takes 60mins in total.

    In this time we will have a chat about what you are looking for from training, your goals, experience and lifestyle.

    We will then go through some movements covering the basics of training with some gentle cardio, this movement part lasts around 15-20mins.

    We will then sit back down and go over any other questions you may have.

  • We programme for the year in advance in 12-week blocks. in each block we put some focus on four particular movement parameters so over the course of the year we intentionally improve 16 movements.

    when you join us we transition you into the programme seamlessly and progressively. in one session we can have a school child training with a higher level competition athlete training with a grandmother. our programming works for everybody and we will look after you to make sure you feel at ease.

  • when you join, you will have access to our booking app which then gives you all the control and flexibility of your diary. we have eight group pt sessions every week day starting at 05:30am and finishing at 7:00pm.

  • When you’re thinking of losing weight or simply want to see how healthy you are, you probably do one of two things: step on a scale or calculate your BMI. But the truth is, these methods don’t tell you anything about how healthy you are– all weight and BMI does is compare how heavy you are to a standard that doesn’t fit your individual goals.

    When you’re trying to get healthier, you’re most likely going to lose fat and (hopefully) gain muscle. But BMI and weight don’t differentiate between muscle and fat. So how can you? Through body composition analysis.

    Body composition analysis is a method of describing what the body is made of, differentiating between fat, protein, minerals, and body water to give you a snapshot of your health. InBody is in the business of body composition analysis, and we’re here to teach you the importance of it today’s day and age to help you reach your health goals from the inside out.
